Cinderella came to visit our facility for a princess birthday party.

Today was our first field trip with our first summer camp of special needs children.  You guys were FABULOUS!  Our children had such an incredible time. Everyone was so accommodating.  Going Bananas staff kept checking on us and helping w/ all the kids.  Nathan one of little guys made it to the top of the biggest slides.  He's 4 but just learned to walk less than a year ago.  The GB staff member held everyone back until Nathan made it to the top.  He was sooooooo proud!  We got a picture to give to his mama.   

The community of children with special needs have so few options for recreational opportunities.  Yet it is these experiences in children's lives that are carried forward into adulthood.  Memories of happiness which give us strength when we are faced with challenges.  Our kids at Sammy's House have had so much medical and therapeutic intervention that their memories are often not so happy. 

We want to thank everyone for their commitment to children and especially for extending a welcome to the beautiful children of Sammy's House.  You have helped us to help our children find the joys of childhood.
